REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2019 IS NOW OPEN AND WILL CLOSE WHEN TARGET IS REACHED (Self placement is only open for CIEE participants up until November 20, 2018)
The procedures to register are as follows:
- If you already travelled 3 times on the J1 Work and Travel Program, you will not be eligible to participate for 2018/2019 season with IRSS.
- Lodge $5000JMD to Any NCB Branch A/C # 211-119-896 c/o IRSS Inc. Ltd for Registration and DS processing fees from August 27, 2018- December 21, 2018 (Fees are Non- Refundable)
- Have bank slip/online transfer receipt and electronic passport size photo available for upload
- Visit www.irssworktravel.com
- Click on Login tab at the top of the Home page then click Register
- Click Fill out form and click STEP 1
- You will be redirected to a next page so follow all instructions
- Complete Application Form upon registering
- Complete Profile Form upon registering
- Select Mandatory Orientation Date
- Follow instructions to upload requested documents
In addition to completing the forms electronically please provide physical copies of listed documents below in short order to one of the offices or on mandatory orientation date.

The requirements for the J1 Work and Travel Cultural Exchange Program
STAGE 1- NEEDED IMMEDIATELY WITH REGISTRATION FEE
N.B.-registration closes on December 21, 2018 (Subject to availability of Jobs & DS2019 Forms)
?Registration fee of $2500JMD plus GCT * ($2913JMD)-non-refundable
?DS Sponsor & Employer enrolment processing along with courier cover of $2087JMD- non-refundable) fee due upon registration.
?Grand total of $5000 due by December 21, 2018 (to be paid at once)
?Must be between 18 (by May 12, 2019) ? 28 years of age.
?Must be a full-time student pursuing a 2-year Associate, 3 Year Diploma or a Degree program. (No certificate or CAPE students allowed)
?Students MUST be able to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and females must be able to wear shorts or pants as part of their uniform.

?Completed I.R.S.S application and Student profile online form at (www.irssworktravel.com)
STAGE 2
?Copy of school ID- (as soon as this is available upload electronically)
?School status letter (by December 14, 2018 the latest January 4, 2019)
?1 copy of the information section of your valid passport (upload electronically)
?DS2019 sponsor Terms and Conditions (I.R.S.S. will advise you on this)
?UWT Step1-3 (I.R.S.S will advise you on this)
?Make deposit of US$500 (a part of the total program fee), mandatory due 3 weeks after registration (see below for payment information) N.B. $150 US of the $500 US paid becomes non-refundable if participant cancel for any reason as stated on Terms & Condition Form
STAGE 3 (optional)
?A copy of any previous J1 visas (where applicable upload electronically)
PROGRAM FEE
75% deposit of program fee payment is due 2 weeks before any IRSS Job Fair Attendance. Failure to meet that deadline will lead to removal of assigned Job.
Full Placement (Fees Subject to change)
?US$ 1500 (before March 8, 2019)- For All Sponsors (Does not include SEVIS of US$35.00)
?US$100 discount if paid before January 18, 2019. (Discount will be applied automatically providing total payment of US$ 1400.00 is received on or before January 18, 2019)
Self-Placement (Fees Subject to change)
?US$ 1200 for all Sponsors (before March 8, 2019) (Does not include SEVIS of US$35.00)
?US$100 discount if paid before January 18, 2019. (Discount will be applied automatically providing total payment of US$ 1100.00 is received on or before January 18, 2019)
ADDITIONAL FEES (Fees subject to change)
?US$ 160-visa voucher fee (payable at any NCB branch details will be shared when it is time for embassy)
?Visa application processing fee $2500JMD
?Airfare, ground transportation and housing deposit (dependent on your job contract)
?Spending money in the amount of US$800 -$900 to cover personal expenses up to 3 weeks
